It would be incorrect to label John Jordan as simply a 'folk' musician. After all, his backgrounds in blues, reggae, classical, hip-hop, orchestra and rock tend to exhibit themselves through his songwriting. At the age of ten, John picked up a guitar after hearing Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" and started writing lyrics upon listening to Jack Johnson's Brushfire Fairytales album a few years later. After writing his first song at the age of 13 and performing it for his family, John wanted a larger audience, so he sought to find it. He began playing at bars and restaurants at the age of 15, on national television by 19, and at 21 he was sharing the stage with the likes of the Goo Goo Dolls, Mac Miller, Rooney, Sister Hazel and more. Currently living in Los Angeles, John is now hard at work on his next album, Cheers. He's continually performing, writing and recording. He hopes that one day, people will enjoy his music as much as he's enjoyed writing and performing it. CONTACT/BOOKING INFO: [email protected] (213) 207-6555
