John King

I am a lecturer in the Media Arts and Science program at the School of Informatics at IUPUI. Prior to that, I taught English at Ball State University, and Media Arts & Animation classes at The Art Institute of Indianapolis. My background is in storytelling, journalism, and audio/video production, with emphases in screenwriting and editorial/opinion writing and editing. I teach a variety of courses ranging from audio/video production to various forms of writing. If I'm not doing that, I'm either sleeping or haunting used book and record shops. A man's got to have hobbies. I want to teach young artists how to tell stories effectively, regardless of medium, and both support and assist them.
