You see, I used to despise lifestyle businesses.

I regarded them with contempt since I thought they were never really "proper" businesses. Now, I'm proud to say that I own a lifestyle business.

How to create a lifestyle business is the subject of a best-selling book I wrote. My company is only there to pay for the lifestyle I envision. Not to make enormous sums of money, add millions to the GDP of the nation, or stroke my ego by hiring more people or having a higher turnover than my rivals.

That sums up my ideal way of life for my business pretty well: complete freedom. Now, the only goal of my company was to enable me to live the lifestyle I desire. That meant complete freedom for me to decide whether or not to work. to have complete discretion over WHAT I work on. I desired the freedom to operate from ANYWHERE in the globe and to complete tasks MY way.
