John Patterson

My name is John. I'm an ESL teacher, traveler and hiker. I love the outdoors, camping and taking photographs.

In January 2007 I sold all my belongings except my books, packed up the few remaining things I posessed and took a job as an English techer in South Korea, where I remained off and on for five years.

During that time, I developed quite an appetite for long, slow travel, hiking and photography. Living in Asia, I had many opportunities to travel widely throughout that region, taking many short and several long trips-including six months in Australia and three months in Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.

After many trips, lots of good friends and many memories, I decided to again sell everything and head back to the United States, settling in Los Angeles and then Fort Collins, CO.
