Volunteer Consultant to Animal Friends of the Valley (Lake Elsinore Animal Friends) Past President of the Wildomar Chamber of Commerce Current member of the Lake Elsinore Chamber of Commerce Member of the Lake Elsinore Rotary Club Served as Finance Director of the Ortega Trails Child Care Centers. Served as a board member of the Southwest Riverside Child Care Consortium Appointed to the Mayor's Library Committee Member of the Water Board Task Force 2000 Tasked with the study and eventual approval of recycled or reclaimed water for use in Lake Elsinore Member of the LEAPS Hydro Plant Committee Representing the community for the planning and due diligence necessary for the FERC process of approval for a permit for a hydro generating plant utilizing the waters of Lake Elsinore Fundraiser for a number of local non-profit organizations, including the HOPE "Clothing for Kids" program of which my wife Rita is the Director. Currently working with "Community Connections" developing a personal fundraising campaign. This is a community support service for needy families.

Past Employment: Chief Executive Officer, Linkline Communication, Inc. Linkline is the largest regional provider of DSL, dial-up and multiple high speed communications T-1 lines.
John Purpura has over 40 years experience , seven of which has been in the computer and ISP industry and over 33 years of experience in various construction management and business ownership positions.
In late 1994, John founded Cosmo Computers, which eventually established the first fully digital dial-up network in southern California known as Cosmo Access.
