John Velardo

Born and lived in Detroit, Michigan until family moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2000. I attended Providence Day School from second grade until I graduated in 2014. I attended Miami University of Ohio my freshmen year of college. However, I am currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am pursuing two degrees in Economics and Management and Society. I serve as the Vice President of Logistics for the Dozen Doughnut Dash. We conduct a 4 mile race through UNC's campus to raise money for the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. I have worked at Details Home Boutique, Providence Day School, The Keith Corporation, and "Apollo" Flow Controls, Manufactured by Conbraco Industries. I grew up playing basketball, football, baseball, lacrosse, golf, and hockey. Proud Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Red Wings, and Carolina Panthers fan. I enjoy spending times outdoors and exercising. In addition, love spending time with family and friends. Avid reader and learner.
