My name is Johnny Acosta and I have been working in the Entertainment business for over 15 years.

During that time I have produced and shot content for award winning Film and Television productions.

I started my career as a driver for Relvolutions Studios, producers of Mona Lisa Smile with Julia Roberts and Maid in Manhattan with Jennifer Lopez. I quickly worked my way up to assistant to the Head of Revolution and went to Los Angeles to shoot another film called Little Black Book with Britney Murphy. My time is film was a magical one and soon I felt the need for another challenge...

Starting from scratch, I left the movie world behind in hopes of following my real passion, Directing. Getting a job as a driver/pa on Apprentice, I spent many a night watching and learning from some of the best and most talented camera operators in the business. I was hooked. I would do any and everything to be one of them. The rest is my history, which I hope someday you can be a part of.

I went on to shoot on many popluar reality show for NBC, ABC, MTV, BRAVO, TLC, VH1, and many more.

I am the kind of DP that will not rest until my producers are happy. I want to get the best content not only visually but also capture the essence of the scenes emotional struggle. I am a story teller, always have and always will be.
