I was a senior financial executive in the media and broadcasting industry for over 30 years until January 29, 2008 when my 17 year old daughter Casey took our car, drove to the Golden Gate Bridge and jumped. She was never found. Since then I've devoted myself to writing, suicide awareness and working with teens. My memoir, The Girl Behind The Door, won the Benjamin Franklin Silver Award for parenting and family issues and the Kindle Award for non-fiction. I self published in 2014 and it will be re released by Scribner in February, 2016.
