I am a nationally published freelance journalist with 5 years experience looking for my next challenge.

Cutting my teeth as a busy news reporter at the national daily, the Morning Star for over 3 years, I am looking to branch out into broadcasting and feature writing for other national and international outlets.

I have expertise and experience writing about politics, industrial relations, community campaigning, women's rights issues, new music and sport.

Recently, I have done freelance public relations work for various NGO's and anchored a documentary for independent media outlet Union News in 2011.

I am now studying for my NCTJ at Wolverhampton City College with modules in video journalism and 100wpm shorthand.
