Born in Morris, Minnesota; raised in Redwood Falls Minnesota; graduated in 1974; attend the university of Minnesota; graduated in 1978; taught in St. Francis, Minnesota from 1978 to 1990; received my Masters degree from the University of Minnesota in 1988; began teaching in the Rosemount school district in 1990; presently teaching at Rosemount Middle School grades six through eight band; I have three beautiful children Ben, Jay, and Emma. I also conduct the Rosemount Community Band; I play in several bands in the Twin City area including bend in the river big band
