I'm John, a software engineer graduating with a BS in Computer Science (in 2018). I am enthusiastic about tech and I am a firm believer in not just working hard, but working smart. I first learned to program in 2008 with JavaScript and HTML. Afterwards I've branched out to more fields. In college, I mostly used Java because of it being the "lingua franca" for majority of the coursework. Sometimes during my study, I'd experiment in C# (Cloud Programming Classes) and Python (For thesis and prototyping a few projects).

After I graduate, I'll be travelling for a while so I probably won't be looking for jobs until 2019. Nonetheless, I'll try to keep my skills polished during this time.
