What can I say? I'm one of those bloggers who thinks he has all the answers. I love discussing religious, political, and social issues. Who knows, maybe I just like the confrontation.

I live in New England and I'm married to a wonderful, very patient woman, since 2004, who saves our family nearly $7,000 per year couponing. She has given me two beautiful daughters, born seven years apart -- just like my brother an I.

I also have two dogs (coincidence?) Rosie and Archie. And my eldest daughter has two parakeets. We've had fish in the past and they had lived longer than any pet fish ought to have, so they've not been replaced.

If I had my druthers, I'd be a professional traveler. Whether by plane, train, or automobile, I simply love to see new places. Trains are my preference, perhaps for the nostalgia of the clickety-clack.

My wife has always said I am an old man trapped in a youthful (portly) body. This is true, I often reflect on what it would be like to live in the 40s or 50s. In my early 20s I wore polo shirts with khaki pants complete with old-man shoes. In fact I charmed my wife with a Hawaiian shirt "with real bamboo buttons".

If anything, I love to discuss the news of the day with anyone who has an opinion. Agree or disagree, the sport of the argument provides all the adrenaline I need.
