John Biernat

A longtime resident of Greater Detroit. Michigan, John Biernat holds an associate of arts in general studies from Macomb Community College in Warren, a bachelor of science in counseling psychology from Rochester College in Rochester, and a juris doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) School of Law located in downtown Detroit. John Biernat graduated from Rochester College magna cum laude and received a Book Award and four dean’s list honors from UDM.
Mr. Biernat also has a diverse professional history that spans fields ranging from shipping and receiving to law enforcement. He received a number of awards and tremendous community praise as patrol officer with the Harper Woods Police Department and reserve police officer with the Springport Township Police Department.
John Biernat has served as a paralegal with Birmingham, Michigan’s Padilla Law Group since 2019. He also works as a manager with the La Lanterna Restaurant in downtown Detroit. Outside of the professional arena, Mr. Biernat is an alumni Member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and a member of both the Knights of Columbus and the Polish American Congress.
