Lake Buena Vista, FL

Freelance AV Technician out of Orlando, Florida. Working with several companies as a general AV technician for Exhibits, Breakouts, General Sessions, and Specialty projects.

I started out in entertainment production in 1980 working for community theatre productions in my hometown of Angola, Indiana. This expanded into doing lighting, audio, and technical direction for many productions in the northeast Indiana region. In 1989 I went to work for Walt Disney World Entertainment as a technician, helping to open the Disney MGM Studios, as well as working on Epcot’s IllumiNations, and various other Epcot venues for almost 10 years. In 1998 I left Disney to help open the new Islands of Adventure theme park for Universal, as a Parkwide Systems Technician. Then in 1999 I went to work full time for Lighting Systems Design, Inc. (LSDI), as Technical Director as well as helping with technical aspects and product development. In the fall of 2005 I decided to start work as a freelance technician, opening myself up to other opportunities.

I also do Digital Signage, Fiber Optics, and Audience Response.

In my spare time, I enjoy model railroading, music, and technology.
