John Jamison
John has 40 years of experience in working with individuals and groups facing change, beginning with 20 years experience as a pastoral counselor, building and directing a 6.8 million dollar media corporation, followed by 20 years working in higher education and corporate training. John served as faculty member, an academic Department Chair, created, directed and taught in national and international distance learning programs, directed a national Game and Simulation academic degree program, and designed and conducted trainings for small and large corporations. John's PhD research led to the development of TranceFormational Learning, a blend of traditional learning, elements of effective game design, current brain research, and virtual environment platforms. TranceFormational Learning serves as the framework for John's ongoing work with educators, trainers and businesses to reframe their goals and strategies to fit the needs of a digital culture demanding higher responsiveness, individualized experience, and personalized meaning from its learning experiences.
