John Boyett

I’m John Boyett, Senior Vice President at CBRE, where I lead the Multifamily Investment Sales team for Los Angeles County. My focus is helping clients buy, sell, and reposition apartment buildings across Southern California, combining hands-on market knowledge with the resources of the world’s leading real estate firm. Over the years, I’ve closed more than $500 million in transactions, representing everyone from first-time investors to major institutions.

Before real estate, I spent several years as a professional athlete in the NFL and CFL, playing for the Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, and Ottawa Redblacks. Football taught me the value of preparation, teamwork, and perseverance—qualities that now shape the way I approach business and leadership every day.

I grew up in Napa Valley, where I learned the fundamentals of real estate early on by helping my dad manage and renovate investment properties. That experience gave me an appreciation for ownership and long-term value.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and father first. My wife Elizabeth and I are raising two amazing kids, and they’re the reason I strive to be the best version of myself—both personally and professionally. I believe integrity, effort, and consistency are the foundation of lasting success.
