John Broekman

John Broekman was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. His early life in the Sunshine State influenced his relaxed nature and growing interest in the world around him. He graduated from Bishop Kenny High School, where he began developing a strong sense of responsibility and involvement. After high school, he attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers to study Business Management. While there, he joined a fraternity that introduced him to the importance of leadership and teamwork.

After his first year, John returned to Jacksonville and transferred to the University of North Florida. He assumed a more prominent role in his fraternity, becoming the third-highest-ranking member and actively participating in philanthropic endeavors. His efforts included organizing events to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association and donating blood each semester through Oneblood’s Big Red Bus. He graduated in 2020 with honors, earning a 3.8 GPA while majoring in Political Science and minoring in Business Management. He was also involved in the Economics Society, where he gained a more profound understanding of financial and political systems.

John's professional experience spans politics, finance, and logistics. He contributed to campaigns at various levels, including helping organize a rally for President Trump in Jacksonville, where he met him in person. In logistics, he worked at Magellan Logistics, where he grew a struggling $50,000 account into one exceeding $500,000. He also worked at TEKsystems, where his performance led to a promotion within three months.

Outside of his career, John is passionate about electronic dance music and has attended over 100 music festivals across the country since 2012. He keeps an active lifestyle through regular workouts and biking, enjoys competitive PC gaming, and often spends time fishing or relaxing at the beach with friends.
