John Chwat

John Chwat resides in Washington, DC and currently serves as the President of The Chwat Group. He has over 40+ years of professional lobbying experience on Capitol Hill representing a large base of clients.

Over the last forty years, John Chwat has become one of the most well-respected lobbyists in Washington. He has taught 800-900 young people, from both the US and abroad, about lobbying and its various opportunities. He is one of the few lobbyists to give a steady stream of US Embassy-sponsored lectures in China over the last 20+ years and has given lectures to nearly every academic think tank, Chinese Ministry, as well as a number of Universities.

John Chwat has also lectured in London, UK and several other locations overseas including Cambodia, Vietnam, Hanoi, Mongolia, and Ulan Bator. These lobbying lectures continue to this day, but John Chwat now spends considerably more time giving lectures to lobbyists on advanced lobbying issues.
