John Murphy

I am a post-primary English and History teacher in Ireland who completed an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree and post-graduate Professional Diploma in Education at University College Cork, where I was also the Editor of the university’s student magazine, Motley.

I’m an avid fan of theatre (drama and musical), film and literature, with further interests including writing, photography, tea, desserts, and using lovely words. And education, of course; I have a keen interest in literacy, active learning, and the use of technology and audio/visual materials in lessons.
