John Coffman is an Undergraduate Energy Commerce Major at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He plans to graduate in 2018 and start his career as soon as possible.
John grew up in Broomfield Colorado a northern suburb of Denver. He is keen on time management when it comes to his day to day activities and is punctual with his obligations. John has a passion for hard work and strives to be the best at everything he is involved in. He is always willing to try and learn new things that will improve efficiency and help the overall well-being of his job. John enjoys working with everyone and wants to make sure everyone is justly represented by the amount of work they put in. John volunteers at a local youth football league to teach young members of society the importance of hard work, practice, and dedication to something they love and want to succeed in.
Previously a Geology major, John chose to switch to Energy Commerce after an internship with which he found his true calling and wanted to pursue the Oil and Gas business as a career. He is looking forward to using his geology interest to further strengthen his career in the energy sector. Although he is used to a city atmosphere, John has no issue getting his hands dirty and working in places others refuse. John's organization and attention to detail set him out from his peers and hopes to use this to his benefit during his career.
