John Edson

Graduate of Fordham University with B.A. in Communications concentrated in Film and a minor in Business Administration.

Recently interned at Big Beach Films as a Development Intern. I reviewed and wrote coverage for several scripts, evaluating their originality, appeal, and if they identified with the message of the studio's past works.

I was a feature programming intern for the Tribeca Film Institute. I aided in the screening and selection of several films to be awarded grants from Tribeca All Access, which supports filmmakers from underrepresented communities in the film industry, as well as the Sloan Filmmaker Fund, dedicated to the advancement and study of scientific achievement.

I also assisted in several events and screenings at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival.

When I'm not doing any of the above, you can probably find me writing a passionate film review, constructing a DIY portal gun replica, or trying to teach myself HTML.
