John Elia

I was born in Pittsburgh, PA, moved to New Jersey and then Moved to England when I was three. I spent two years in Newark On Trent ( on the river trent ) right by Nottingham forest ( where Robin Hood and his Merry band of theves lived.) I then moved to Casatenovo Italy, right outside of Milan. I learned to ski in the Swiss Alps.. When I was ten, my parents had enough of Living abroad and decided to move back to the U.S.A. We moved back to Long Island New York. By the time the dust settled, my parents were divorced and I was living with my mom. A couple of years later, I was 15 and working in a Bar... which was kind of cool... anyway, I decided to move in with my father, who was now living in Exeter New Hampshire. I loved it up there, and spend the next two years having a great time. After High School, I joined the United States Marine Corps.. The time in is a blur, but I did spend a year in Okinawa Japan, was in a little skirmish in Panama, did cold weather training in Norway, and learned how to Scuba Dive. I moved back to New Hampshire after my father passed away in 1990, just before I got out of the Marines. a short while later I moved to Virginia Beach, and moved in with my brother. He kicked me out a month later, but not before he got his rent... any whoo, I moved back to Long Island, went back to school for computers and have been working in that field ever since. I moved to Charlotte, NC for about 5 years, and I love that place. Now I live on Long Island, where my favorite pass time is being a Dad.
