John F. Myslinski has dedicated his life to the Catholic priesthood, serving in multiple parishes and as the beloved “TV Priest” of Washington, D.C., where he hosted Real to Reel and celebrates the televised Mass. He is deeply committed to helping the homeless, earning the title Washingtonian of the Year and being named Monsignor by Pope John Paul II. In addition to his ministry, he authored two books, Strange Gods and Something Wicked, showcasing his passion for writing. Now retired, he resides in the Berkshires with his sister and his cherished chocolate lab, “Chocolate,” while continuing to assist in local parishes. He enjoys reading, writing, and staying connected with friends, reflecting on a lifetime of faith, service, and storytelling.
