A little about me. As AAA's Car Doctor and Senior Manager of Public Affairs for AAA Northeast (35 years in this position). I write new car reviews, feature articles and a Q&A column for the AAA publication "Your AAA" The AAA newsletter is mailed to well over 2.5 million homes each month. My column also appears each Saturday in the Boston Globe, Providence Journal as well as other local newspapers and websites. I host the "Car Doctor" radio program Saturday mornings from 10-11a.m. on WBOQ 104.9 in Boston ( www.northshore1049.com). As AAA spokesperson I have appeared as a regular guest on many radio and TV programs. As a Safety advocate I regularly speak to groups throughout our AAA territory.

Certified as a Master Automobile Technician from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, I hold additional certifications in Advanced Engine Performance and Alternative Fuels along with a vocational teaching certificate from the State of Massachusetts. I am a current member and President of the New England Motor Press Association, I'm also a member of the International Motor Press Association, and an affiliate member of the Society of Automotive Engineers. I'm a certified lead instructor for the AAA's Driver Improvement program and a child passenger safety technician and instructor. I also sit on several advisory boards for traffic safety within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
