Toured with Alison Moyet 2002 – 2003 as keyboard player and Musical Director. Guitarist and BVs for Jukes 2001-2002. Keyboard player and Musical Director for Scissor Sisters 2004-2011. Musical Director for Ke$ha 2009. With Scissor Sisters, John has performed in many venues and festivals across the globe including Fuji Rocks (Japan), Glastonbury Festival (UK), Splendour in the Grass (Australia), and most major UK Arenas. In 2010 John travelled to South America with Scissor Sisters for concerts in Sao Paulo, Santiago and Buenos Aires. Appearances on TV include Later with Jools Holland, Top of the Pops, The Late Show with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live. Collaborations with Elizabeth Fraser (Cocteau Twins), Jimmy Goodrich (Canadian Singer-Songwriter), Nathan Daniel and Tilted City (Cornish Songwriter/Composer), Tamco (previously known as Jukes), Tony Orrell (JJ and the Birdman), Emily Breeze and Tristan McKay. Composer/Musical Director for Hamish and Dougal – You’ll Have Had Your Tea – 2002-2006. Co-composer with Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters for Tales of the City the Musical, opening June 2011 at American Conservatory Theatre, San Francisco.
