John has over 20 years experience in media strategies and development. He has created a number of successful companies over the years working with fortune 500 clients to create digital and traditional media. His career and life have been a mix of the technical and the creative with a focus on the interactive and new media creation. Working as a virtual reality consultant in the early 90's John saw the future of interface, but realized it was not ready for prime time. He focused his efforts on another emerging technology vector the Internet. He went on to work with Intel when testing some of the first web servers and exploring how video and interactive worked using HTML and the framework of the web as a canvas. He built early experimental websites and interactive media using Virtual Reality Markup Language (VRML) and early streaming media formats. John went on to work on the first 3D web browser where he innovated storytelling on a canvas the leveraged the z axis. This early experimentation with new immersive interactive media experiences helped him to understand how media creation and post-production was evolving. His clients have included Intel, Xbox, HP, Toyota, GNC, Dicks Sporting Goods, Subway, Regence, Cricket Wireless, LaCie, Hollywood Theaters, Warner Bros. and Walmart. His media projects have included an interactive virtual world that tied into a number of real world campaigns for both HP and Toyota. As well as working with Micheal Eisner and his company to produce an award winning comedy web series and digital experience. Before joining OFG he was working with Walmart, Intel and Intel Media Labs on story structures and transmedia strategies .Recently John was VP of Technology for OFG Post. He ran the Think Tank where he focused on solving the current and future issues with technology and workflow in the media industry. He experimenting with 8K, 4K, 360 video, VR and the integration of cinema and gaming. Working from camera to delivery our workflows include ARRI, RED, Sony, Panasonic and many other solutions to deliver the best possible final delivery.
