Because of the tremendous importance and imperative of leadership, John has weaved together his human resources business partner expertise, organizational effectiveness capabilities, and his purpose and gift of coaching and advising people and businesses and is focused on leading leaders and being the visionary to visionaries. The mission is to eliminate the fear of the entrepreneur, and remove all obstacles that prevent leader success, and ensure that leadership competency permeates people and organizations.

In marrying his HR and coaching expertise, John’s accolades include coaching exiting Presidential appointees of the Obama Administration; features on, CBS Moneywatch, U.S. News & World Report, and, and author of ME In 4 Seasons: A Journal For Your Journey of Change. John has also been a featured guest on KVRN Radio’s show Moments of Inspirations hosted by MJ McGlen and WBND Radio’s The Journey: A Meeting of the Minds hosted by Kimberly Collins and Jennifer Foxworthy; and a podcast guest for Lisa Anderson, CEO of Anavo Transformation Solutions, in a discussion on Courageous Conversations, and has served as a guest speaker and facilitator for youth conferences, leadership conferences, government clients, organizations, and leadership development programs.

Further, John is the Vice Chair for the Board of the Ryan Odelle Mance Memorial Scholarship Foundation, and has served in the following capacities: Speaker for Hult International Business School DC Alumni; speaker for Towson University Masters HR Development course; speaker, workshop facilitator, and panelist for the Daniel Leadership Institute; speaker for Women of Prince George's annual conference; speaker for Evangel Cathedral's Unleash Your Earning Potential conference; Virginia Department of Corrections; and team building leader and facilitator for the Department of Commerce, the EEOC, and Unity Christian Fellowship (UCF).

With a wealth of experience spanning various industries: Start-up, government contracting, architecture, engineering, international development, energy, manufacturing, faith-based, and commercial land care, and having advised leaders across the nation, in Canada, and internationally, John holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University and has become a coach through the Life On Purpose Development Institute.
