Serving in this position from 2010 to 2015, he was responsible for providing international legal, compliance, and regulatory services to firms in the financial services industry; he oversaw various aspects of operations in subsidiaries in Tokyo, Sydney, London, and Hong Kong.
John Hornbostel has previously held roles at AIG, PineBridge Investments (fka AIG Investments), and international law firm White & Case. He holds a JD from the Fordham University School of Law and a BA from Middlebury College. He speaks conversational Spanish and over his career has worked in the Czech Republic (for 2 1/2 years) and visited (to advise on transactions), among other countries, Slovakia, Poland, Russia, Germany, France, the UK, Ireland, South Africa, China, Japan, the Philippines, and India. The global transactional practice of John Hornbostel has included transactions numerous other jusrisdictions. John Hornbostel studied in Spain at Middlebury College. Mr. Hornbostel enjoys music (continuing to play the drums periodically) and enjoys playing tennis and skiing. He is a NY sports fan.
