John Morris

Keele

Just a 20 year old student trying to claw my way into journalism. I've written for the Guardian, NUS, the Opinion Panel and Concourse (see links).

I've volunteered more than 4,000 hours since I was 14 and won the 2011 Cambridgeshire Young People of the Year competition. I've also spoken in the Houses of Parliament, helped save third year accommodation for Keele students, built teachers' accommodation in rural Gambia, volunteered as a Scout Leader and a Team v Leader - for the latter I went homeless for three nights and organised a month of activities to raise awareness of mental health.

And all this has been done by a formerly homeless kid clinging onto a broken family. So, what should I do next?
