John Jessey

Hello, my name is John Jessey and my goal is to become a consultant at a big name consulting firm. I am open to working on the West Coast as well as near home on the East Coast. I have known I have wanted to work in consulting for some time now; it certainly would qualify as a passion of mine. My personality and drive would fit perfectly into the ever changing project based work atmosphere. Working on a common goal, one that would be presented on at the conclusion of my time on a job, is an environment I would love. In addition to this the team based culture would keep the workplace fun and relaxed while concurrently developing strong professional relationships. The prospect of taking a job that has similar travel requirements to that of when I studied abroad is very exciting to me. I have gotten the travel bug and don't intend on getting rid of it anytime soon. Additionally, being able to begin my career with an industry wide scope, as I would work with numerous businesses, would be an excellent place to start a career. Down the road I would love to be in the position of starting and/or working on a venture capital or private equity firm. This scope would be a perfect prerequisite for this line of work. Additionally, these experience bode well for graduate school applications. I fully intend on pursuing consulting as a venue of work and am ready to begin my career in a place I know I would enjoy and flourish in.
