John R aka John (born August 30) is an American IT systems administrator, software deployment engineer, amazing amatuer chef, reformed embryon, and so-so guitarist that currently resides in the Central New York area. He currently works as a Senior System Administrator of both Linux and Windows server platforms for his employer. Forbes and Time magazine both haven't bothered listing him for anything. John himself has modestly credited himself as being an entirely self-made thousandaire and also regional man of mystery.

John was born in an Arctic wasteland labeled Syracuse, New York on most maps. He holds advanced degrees in Information Technology. He has also completed coursework in the topics of advanced computer forensics at the Rochester Institute of Technology and advanced cyber security programs at the prestigious school CalTech. Also he holds multiple industry certifications such as Microsoft MCSE, CompTia A-/Linux+/ Network+ and Certified Ethical Hacker as well as others. He once held the BrainBench Windows 95 Expert certification but relinquished it when the strain and rigors of maintaining became too much.

In his off time John enjoys cooking and has even qualified to appear on the hit Fox network show Hells Kitchen. Unfortunately host Gordon Ramsey was so intimidated by being shown up by John that he begged him not to appear. Being the charitable person that John is he agreed in order to spare Ramsay's feelings. Seriously John couldn't appear due to time constraints because the production takes a couple months and John didn't feel right taking that much time off work. He also enjoys playing guitar of which he is a very solid heavy metal guitarist. He also is an avid follower of the Boston Red Sox, NY Mets, and Syracuse Orange basketball and football teams.
