John Kaptrosky is a highly motivated and goal orientated finance executive that prefers small to mid-sized companies. He has worked in the distribution and technology industries the past 25 years where I have a track record of success. He is a proud husband to his high school sweet heart Heather O'Hara, father of 3 great kids Klaire (19) Jack (16) and Kate (12). John Kaptrosky enjoys golfing, playing basketball, watching all my kids sporting activities and is an avid Michigan football fan that is glad Jim Harbaugh is the coach.

John Kaptrosky grew up in New Baltimore Michigan and went to high school at Anchor Bay where he graduated in 1985. He was the captain of the varsity basketball and baseball team and played one year of football. After high school, John Kaptrosky accepted a scholarship to play baseball at Eastern Michigan University in Yspilanti Michigan. He was a pitcher and played on the baseball for two years but unfortunately hurt his arm. He had surgery in hopes of returning but after a few attempts it was clear that his baseball days were done. He instead focused on his studies and graduated cum laude with a BBA in finance in 1989.

John Kaptrosky started his career as a cost analyst at General Motors Corp. where he worked for about a year. His next position was a trust analyst at Manufacturer's Bank where he stayed for about a year. His next position was as a Controller for Coach and Motor Company where he worked for the next fifteen years. The Company grew rapidly and was later sold to Johnson Industries.

John Kaptrosky and his wife Heather O'Hara decided to leave the Detroit area and move to Chicago in 2004 and found a great community Lake Forest which is about 40 miles north of the city located on Lake Michigan. He started his next position at The Ticket Reserve in 2005 as a CFO for this exciting start up company where he worked for the next 10 years.
