John Kiley

Chicago

There is one thing that I will always remember about my collegiate experience.
I had a very influential professor whom I had admired for her work and character.

She sat down during class one day, in the middle of a lecture about the economic crisises, and stopped for a second.

She then said to the class,

"I wish you could see all of your faces right now. You all look so dreary, oh come on! I know that these are sad things. But thats not how you should see these! We need solutions for these problems. You are economists, your job is to fix them! Thats why you're here. You are our world's problem solvers."

Thats what I'd like to do with my life.
Thanks professor.
