John Sage is an innovative, passionate and battle-tested entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience leading marketing initiatives for high-performance organizations such as Apple Computer, Microsoft, Disney and Starbucks. More recently, John helped create and define new approaches to the social sector - co-founding Pura Vida Coffee, a pioneering organic, fair-trade coffee company with customers throughout the United States. John holds a BA with Honors in American Studies from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard. He is an Ashoka Fellow, an honor recognizing leading entrepreneurs using business to transform society, an active volunteer and board member with numerous philanthropic organizations and a frequent speaker on competitive strategy, sustainability and social enterprise.
