The Namibia flag was adopted in the year 2 February 1990. There was contest held by the National Symbols Sub-Committee, which received around several designs for the national flag. The flag of Namibia has color red that represents the Namibian people. The next color is white which means peace and unity. Green signifies Namibia's vegetation and agricultural resources.
