John Lauckner

I am a teacher, learner, sharer, and home-brewer. As such, I am interested in the way literacies, objects, and narratives work together to create meaning and unique learning experiences. So far, my research has explored literacies in writing centers and writing center assessment, often with a focus on digital literacies. More recently I have begun to explore the impact videogames have on both traditional and non-traditional learning models by looking at learning tutorials in games. During my time at Michigan State in the Digital Rhetoric and Professional Writing, I am continuing to explore these areas of research as well working at the Writing Center at MSU as the Webmaster and Writing Mentor Coordinator. I also enjoy pizza, videogames, craft beer, and comic books and would love to talk to you about them.
