John Lusink is the president and broker of record at Right at Home Realty Inc. based in Toronto, Ontario. With more than 30 years of experience working in the real estate industry, Lusink’s professional background includes not only an exceptional commercial real estate sales career, but also the management of the corporate offices for one of Canada’s most notable real estate brands, as well as the ownership of a successful residential real estate franchise.

Lusink maintains an active role in organized real estate as well. He served as director for the 50,000-member Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) for six years and, most recently, as the commercial director for the 2018 Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA), an organization with 70,000 members. During his time at TREB, he served for two years as the chairman of the Government Relations Committee and as the chair of the Finance Committee.

Over the course of his career, John Lusink has demonstrated that he is an accomplished leader and has consistently shown success in three areas of focus: mergers and acquisitions, innovative operational solutions, and assembling high-performing teams. He regularly delivers above-average returns for shareholders and investors.

His experience in strategic real estate deal planning and with leading negotiations as a marketing manager for a major private real estate development firm has made him a successful change agent. His areas of experience include: managing and overseeing successful mergers; creating recruiting and retention programs; implementing large-scale initiatives to increase per-agent productivity; developing marketing and new technology strategies; building skilled management teams; delivering positive financial results; and inspiring sales personnel and other staff to perform at a high level and exceed expectations.

Among other certifications, Lusink is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a designee of the Council of Real Broker Managers (CRB) and a Fellow of the Real Institute(FRI). He also serves as a trainer and coach for several programs offered by the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI).

John Lusink earned his MBA from the University of Fredericton in Fredericton, New Brunswick, in 2018 and his BA from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He is fluent in both English and Dutch.
