I manage my own company, www.modernity.scot which provides online resources for teachers of Modern Studies. My company is an approved SQA provider of Higher Politics and I provide CPD for teachers and deliver online classes. I also teach Modern Studies and Politics at Glasgow Caledonian University Advanced Higher Hub.
With my wife, Lis, we run McTaggart's cafe-bistro in Aberdour, Fife. The cafe serves high quality coffee and food in a modern, relaxed and friendly setting. The cafe also serves as an educational venue and venue for speakers.
Outwith work, I enjoy running, cycling, golf and football.
