I qualified at the Oxford School of Dog Grooming in the summer of 1990 befor operning my pet shop and grooming room . With over 20 years of experience in the grooming industry, I pride myself on providing a unique service for you, and a sympathetic and caring service for your beloved pet.
I am a passionate animal lover and breeder of some breeds from the Rare Breeds Survival Trust register. Which was founded 40 years ago in 1973 by the dedicated and equally passionate Jo Henson, whom I workrd with through my commitment to the critically endangered Bagot Goats and the lovley Golden Guernsey . I have been a life member of the trust for over 25 years and remain faithful to conserving the interests of our much loved, but disappearing numbers of native breeds.
I have bred my own beautiful long haired miniature dachshunds, which are fun and loving but not mud friendly so I know all too well how important a good grooming regime is, to you and your home! More recently Cairn Terriers I adore for their tenacious, rough and tumble, fun personalties and we also have two regal Irish Setters. So there is always company for nervous visiting clients and plenty to keep me busy too. I also keep and show Standard Shetland ponies Tegen Minstrel in the picture is my home breed multie Champion gelding,Wiltshire Horne sheep(not rare now)and North Ronaldsay sheep, Golden Guernsey goats giving us deliceous fresh milk/cheese and yogurt.Round of the menagrie
