I was born in England, educated at Waldorf schools, and studied sciences, electronic engineering and computer science at university. I think I will always be a software engineer, though playing and singing music is also important to me. These days I travel the world writing standards for data communications and often wish I wasn't away from the family during school holidays. I have given up skydiving, had a mental breakdown, survived various accidents and diseases, loved and lost, and loved again. In my forties I changed from being an introvert to being an extrovert. I think the thing I'm most proud of is having helped one or two young people through dark and difficult times in their lives.
