It is not necessary that you always need a compact disk to install and configure your necessary applications that can perform your daily tasks. You can also install Linksys router on your work location as per your feasibility and necessity. Below are some quick steps to get your router installed without even using the compact disk option: -

Go to the official website of Linksys and click the Support option at the top-left corner of the page. Enter your Linksys model number located at the backside of the box and search for it.

Select the Downloads/firmware rectangular button. This will enable the PC screen to display a list of versions that your hardware can download.

Locate and spot the setup matching your system’s requirements and download it. Accept the end-user license agreement after reading all its terms and conditions carefully.

Open the setup from your Downloads option by double-clicking the Linksys setup.

Complete the setup installation by clicking on Next. Enter the other necessary details like SSID, account details, connection type and so on. Now, click on Finish.
