An honorable mention McDonald’s All-American in high school (basketball) John balanced his love for competition with a love of the arts from a young age. These artisitc desires led John to study filmmaking at the New York Film Academy’s in Los Angeles after which he served as the Director of Operations at the NYFA - LA.

In 2011 John left the Academy to pursue his creative ambitions and formed Dreamline Pictures acting as a writer/producer and the Chief Creative Officer. At Dreamline John created the series HARDWOOD which he placed in development at HBO to be produced by Nodilo, Spike Lee and Doug Ellin, wrote and produced the feature film PREY, developed the series ROCKING THE CRADLE, COVERGIRLS, and COUNTRY MILE all while overseeing the development and scripting the pilot for a early era adaptation of a sports book. In addition John wrote and produced the adaptation of Miracle in the Making: The Adam Taliaferro story into a major motion picture.
