Dj Johnny Aftershock

BIO: DJ Johnny Aftershock is a legend in the Los Angeles Latin Urban Night Club & Rave Scene. He has been a professional DJ for over 25 years, beginning in the summer of 88'. He started out as a mobile DJ in the City of Compton (born and raised), from there He ventured into the 1990's urban Latin Rave scene spinning everywhere from small rusty warehouses in L.A. to Massive Rave events across the Country.

Throughout the 90s he dominated the scene by playing his eclectic mix of 80s Flashbacks. He then moved into the Hollywood Nightclub scene in 1994 and played at just about every hot club in L.A., O.C. & around the Country under the DJ name "Johnny Aftershock", why the name? It was suggested by a fellow DJ because he considered 80s music's impact as strong as an earthquake that shook the the world, and each time an 80's set was played by Johnny, it was like an "aftershock" from the "big one", the "big one" being the 8O's. Johnny Aftershock's specialty is spinning "8Os-New-Wave-Classics-&-Flashbacks". He was on the top of every party promoters list as the best alternative 8Os music DJ in the business.

Johnny is now a respected & professional Mobile DJ, Video Disc Jockey, MC, & Video editor running Aftershock Entertainment/80s Video DJ. His companies specialize in Themed events, Decor Lighting, Weddings & Corporate Events.

Johnny Aftershock continues to DJ for the City of Angles and will be a staple in the industry for many more years to come!
