Widely regarded as extremely well travelled and diversely experienced. During his career in Australia he served as bar manager at Sydney's renown resto experience Area. Stints in Spain and London soon followed, as well as New Orleans, New York, Toronto and Los Angeles. John utilized his mixology skills to great success with Wolfgang Puck's Catering Division at several high profile events such as the 2007 Oscars and American Film Institute Awards.
John's reputation soon made its way to the Food Network and in 2008 he was approached to film a pilot episode for a bartending series. The cameras followed him throughout the process of purchasing equipment and supplies, setting up and finally mixing and presentation.
In 2009 John's skillset and professionalism was exactly what the operators of the Phoenix 2 were looking for. Considered among the most exclusive Super Yachts in the world, John was hired as the event manager for private charters through the Caribbean, Monaco, Montenegro and Italy. The challenge of designing cocktail menus for such a prestigious and discerning clientele was met with great success. John continues to serve with the Phoenix 2 on an advisory basis.
