Johnny Buscema Jr. is the President and CEO of Safe (S.A.F.E.) Structure Designs is a Christian-based global leader in defense contracting renowned for its ergonomic, safety-first support equipment tailored for the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, U.S. Coast Guard, and Special Ops. He founded S.A.F.E. Structure Designs LLC in 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has led the company to become a leading defense contractor, focusing on designing, engineering, and manufacturing customizable solutions to meet military requirements.

S.A.F.E.'s comprehensive product range caters to air, land, sea, and space missions, supporting the DoD worldwide with its American-made products from seven manufacturing facilities across the USA. Each facility boasts unique capabilities that allow for limitless production capacity. He attributes his success to his faith, often saying, "Although we oftentimes don’t understand what Jesus is doing in our life, if we are obedient and faithful to the word of God, then when it’s revealed to us later we will not be disappointed… And that is because Jesus never lets us down."

Before starting S.A.F.E. Structure Designs, he was the President, CEO, and majority partner at All Metal MS, where he led the company away from bankruptcy and tripled its gross sales and output over six years. His early career in financial investing equipped him with vital skills in managing cash flow, cutting costs, negotiating with creditors, and restructuring debt.

His career in finance began in 2001 at John Hancock, where his determination quickly moved him to the top. In 2005, leveraging his background in financial investments and family history in real estate construction, he opened Stylistic Designs Developers in Clearwater, FL, specializing in residential, commercial, and medical facility construction, which continues to thrive.

He was born in Long Island, NY, and raised in Florida, where he graduated from the University of Florida. A former collegiate athlete, he was a standout hurdler on the men’s track and field team, aspiring to the Olympics and qualifying for the Olympic Trials in the 110M High Hurdles before an injury ended his Olympic dreams. Despite this, he has remained involved in the sport, coaching track and field across several Florida, Nevada, and Illinois schools.
