Johnny Guerra

Hi! My name is Jonathan Guerra and I'm the creator of this travel blog in which I share my adventures while on my travels. I’m a certified scuba diver, canyoneer, backpacker and hiker. Growing up, I was definitely a city boy, being raised in Los Angeles. In my younger days, I was able to travel several times to Costa Rica and experience a different culture.

From an earlier age I knew there was so much more out there then just California. At age 18 I enlisted in the Navy, but did not travel anywhere outside the U.S. I was seeking adventures and new experiences.

Finally, after graduating college and landing a "cubicle" job, I decide to place the money I was earning on travels. No book or classroom can teach you more than life experiences. After saving enough money, I traveled to the Caribbean, where I spent New Years - I was hooked right then. After, I traveled to Europe to meet family I had for the first time and see more of this world.

Next, I spent two months traveling through Europe and Morocco to see more of the world- ran with the bulls, so the highlands of Scotland and camel rides through the deserts of Morocco.

Currently, on my trip next trip and have been to 22 countries thus far.

I titled my site "Two Week Notice" because I wanted to represent the desire that I believe a lot of us have. That desire to drop all things in a heart beat and to seek a new and exciting adventure; and in many ways I believe that's how we grow. We can only grow by stepping outside our comforts zone and I hope I can represent that for you guys. Comment on my page because I would love to learn from you guys as well.
