Johnny Kascukas
Chicago, Illinois
Salutations- My name is Johnny. I'm an undergraduate student at Loyola University Chicago. I'm extremely passionate about music, my fraternity, and other various student-organizations on Loyola's campus. I'm currently an Advertising and Public Relations major, hoping to be connected to the music industry in some way or another after college.
My interest in music picked up when I was in fourth grade, when I received my first acoustic guitar. I took private guitar lessons from then until my sophomore year of high school. I started singing in my freshman year, which is when I started writing my own music and performing locally. I've been lucky enough to be able to perform at both my high school and my university. I also have owned over thirty guitars since I've started playing; I tend to buy/sell/flip gear regularly. From playing guitar, collecting guitars and vinyl records, to going to concerts, music is something that will be a part of me for many years to come.
Joining a fraternity was something I never thought I'd do when I was in high school. Most of my close friends had older siblings that were in fraternities or sororities, so they always had the thought of "rushing" in the backs of their minds. Being an only child, only nephew, and only grandson, I never even thought about getting invovled in greek life. Thankfully, an old neighbor from my childhood contacted me about joining his fraternity at Loyola, since he was the president at the start of my first semester. To this day, I am still thankful that he reached out to me, since my fraternity has benefited me in more ways than I thought were even possible. I now have over 60 brothers that have my back, after growing up as the only kid in my family my entire life.
Bascially, I'll talk your ear off. My life is weird; I'd love to tell you about it.
