John Paul Tier
As a child John Paul possessed inquisitiveness for just about anything, which often led to being called Dennis the Menace. His wide-eyed curiosity and his well-meaning attempts to help out frequently found him sitting in the corner in a rocking chair for timeout. He once pulled his mother’s Kirby vacuum cleaner completely apart just to see what made it work.
The gears of John Paul’s inquiring mind still turn today in his passion to creatively make dramatic differences by providing remarkable solutions to everyday challenges. As an interior designer, he utilizes active-listening skills, asks the right questions and hears what’s not being said to provide client-centric solutions and cultivate strong and meaningful relationships. John Paul’s innovative approach to assess industry trends, client needs, product resources and sustainable practices reveals new perspectives, challenges traditional thinking and engages and inspires teams and individuals.
Traces of Dennis the Menace still exist in his enthusiastic approach to identify by-the-book needs and provide off-the-wall opportunities. And despite his mother’s adverse reaction to a dissected vacuum cleaner, John Paul is thankful to have learned you can’t kill a Kirby.
