John Prakash

John Prakash is a forward thinking AI orchestration and automation architect with over 20 years of experience driving innovation across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and intelligent platforms. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Synamedia, he leads global engineering teams in delivering high-performance Edge CDN solutions that power scalable, resilient content delivery networks.

At Synamedia, John has spearheaded the release engineering of Fluid Edge CDN, enabling $20M in revenue and achieving 99.9% uptime across geo distributed systems. His leadership in fault tolerant automation frameworks, CI/CD orchestration, and next-gen analytics platforms has significantly improved system reliability, reduced latency, and accelerated deployment cycles.

Prior to Synamedia, John held key roles at Cisco Systems, where he architected cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Terraform, and OpenShift enhancing infrastructure efficiency and deployment speed by over 90%. His tenure at AOL included leading mobile platform testing and protocol validation for the Open Mobile Alliance, as well as contributing to open-source initiatives.

John’s career began with impactful contributions to ISRO-ISTRAC, where he developed satellite health monitoring software, followed by software development at DeepRoot Linux. His journey reflects a consistent focus on building intelligent, scalable systems that bridge automation, performance, and strategic impact.

He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore, with a specialization in Distributed Computing and Mobile Communications.
