John Richard Still

John Richard Still was born and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas, and he remains loyal to his community where he continues to live and work. He has explored the town’s history through collecting local antiquities, and has authored articles about antique firearms stories in enthusiast publications. John Richard Still involves himself in the community as much as possible and has served as President for many organizations in Nacogdoches, including the Fredonia Rotary Club and the County Industrial Trust. John Richard Still has also acted as Board Chairman of the Nacogdoches Convention & Visitors Bureau and Vice President of the Nacogdoches Independent School District.

Currently, John Richard Still owns and operates Still Financial Group, a company that provides a myriad of insurance services to clients, including funding for qualified plans, fixed annuities, estate conservation, life insurance, and long-term medical care insurance. Known as a conscientious, trustworthy, and dependable agent, Mr. Still has built that reputation by providing superior customer service with a personal touch.

He attended Stephen F. Austin State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Education. After he enrolled in the University of Houston to study postgraduate courses in Business Education, John Richard Still returned to Nacogdoches to act as Adjunct Instructor in Risk Management at Stephen F. Austin State University. Mr. Still also holds certification as a Financial Services Specialist, a Certified in Long-Term Care specialist, and a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow. He holds membership in the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Pineywoods Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. In addition, John Richard Still has earned the National Sales Achievement Award and the National Quality Award, and has been named a Qualifying and Life member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
